The Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach is today the Largest Brazilian Festival in Florida. This is a not for profit, free admission, multicultural and minority driven event produced by the City of Pompano Beach, and the Heartbeat Foundation Corp. Annually, the festival draws an average of 15,000 people to the Pompano Beach Community Park. For the past 5 years the Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach generated 1600 indirect jobs, and 267 direct part time positions, helped more than 800 hundred local small businesses with exposure and expansion, donated more than U$12,000.00 to local institutions, and heat up the local economy by promoting tourism. Through happiness, fun, and entertainment the Heartbeat Foundation has been creating multicultural awareness, or unity, healing, and harmony between groups regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, and socioeconomic status.
The Brazilian Fest Radio Show is brand new endeavor produced the Heartbeat Foundation, and the Annual Brazilian Festival of Pompano Beach, and it was created to promote the Brazilian Music Culture, and all its genres to Festival Fans, but most important, to North Americans and to 1.6 Million Brazilians First, Second and Third generations living in the USA. The Brazilian Fest Radio Show is the first bilingual radio show aired in the United States playing exclusively Portuguese speaking artists, and Brazilian bands. It is aired only by Radio Blog Miami.
The Brazilian Fest Radio Show is presented and anchored by Ivy La Monica, Luciano Sameli, and Rick Kelly in a dynamic line of communication that stands for OVERWHELMING synchronicity, interactivity, and chemistry.
